  • Oranssi project: studio shed

    This old D8L is getting re-powered along with some hose and other maintenance that is a lot easier done with the engine out.

  • Oranssi project: roof expansion

    This skid steer loader frame had a crack around the pin bore. Pulled the boom off and took it to welder friend of mine to repair the crack and he even fixed it up with stiffener plate to add a little more strength to boom, while saving the customer thousands of dollars compared to buying a new boom.

    Gave this 130G a little lighting upgrade from stock and replaced the rear lights as well.

  • Oranssi project: passive house

    This truck came to the shop because it wasn’t running quite right. Upon diagnosis we found a bent push rod, it bent do to the cam follower alignment pin that broke allowing the follower to turn side ways on the cam causing this failure.

  • This engine had a slight over fueling issue because of a broken injector tip. Also found 4 broken exhaust valve springs when diagnosing the issue.

  • This 627 scraper had an electrical harness that was beyond repair. The harness ran from the front of the machine to the transmission, and we pulled the tire to access which saved the customer $100's in labor.

  • The brakes on this loader had seen better days. Removed the axle, disassembled and completely cleaned all components of debris.

  • Customer pulled his engine due to a rod knock, rebuilt and had us come back and install the engine to make sure he was up and running the next day.

  • This 627 had an oil leak on the accessory cover below the air compressor. The only way to reseal it is to pull the front gear train cover off.

  • During a brake job I found that this old lowboy had some other issues, such as the bud wheels almost pulling through the rims.
